Telstra Road to Discovery talent development program connects emerging singer/songwriters with some of the most influential artists and execs in the music industry. The program gives artists the flexibility to achieve their goals their way with an all-expenses paid trip to the USA to attend the Americana Music Festival, local gigs, ongoing education and the opportunity to work with Telstra to help them kick-start their music career as well as the $15,000 development fund.
02/ THE CHALLENGE
Telstra engaged the MSQUARE team to produce a 15-episode live broadcast of the Telstra Road to Discovery series to be distributed across digital platforms nationwide. The series needed to be youthful, encouraging and energetic – offering the audience a professional and approachable platform to engage and share thoughts across. Telstra also wanted to hold a live masterclass in its 300-person theatre in Sydney, which would be broadcasted live for audience members to join in from the comfort of their own homes.
03/ THE RESULTS
MSQUARE worked closely with Telstra’s teams to develop and execute the entire Telstra Road to Discovery series. MSQUARE provided creative consulting across the project, and the final series was a success with a fully-booked masterclass and a 20% increase of viewership apart from the series’ previous seasons.
