Through the Everyone Connected programs, Telstra provides support for vulnerable customers, including people with disability, seniors, Indigenous Australians as well as children and young people. We work in partnership with non-profit and government organizations, many of whom we also consult on the suitability of our products and services. We invest beyond our regulatory obligations in providing products and services to low income customers, and regularly review our programs to identify groups most in need, changing technologies and consumer preferences.
Telstra engaged MSQUARE to design, develop and produce a campaign to promote the social impact of Telstra’s digital inclusion investments. The primary goals were to demonstrate the importance of connection in a digital world; to illustrate Telstra’s contribution to the community in which they operate, and to convey the social impact of Telstra’s digital inclusion investments.
MSQUARE conceptualized, developed and produced Everyone Connected as one of the 3 primary films across Telstra’s Digital Inclusion campaign. The films reached over 2M people across digital platforms, customer events, workshops and included an audience of Telstra employees, stakeholders and customers nationwide. Everyone Connected received critical acclaim from the Australian Cinematography Society for its use of visual storytelling in an industry-focused area that’s often oversaturated with typical interview-style videos. MSQUARE and Telstra received the prestigious Gold ACS Award and went on to be one of the most discussed films in its categories.
